The crew prepare for the task at hand.
Sure enough, when she arrived home she found that the facia board and a number of tiles had been blown off of the roof directly above the master bedroom at the back of the house and the debris was now scattered on the ground below and across the balcony outside of the bedroom.

Chelsea SES received the call from help just after 6pm and dispatched Rescue 1 and Rescue 2 with 8 members on board to cover the damage in order to stop any rain from getting in or any further damage to the roof itself from wind.

Once the roof top safety lines were in place, members assessed the situation and it was decided that tarps would be placed over the damaged area and secured until the insurance company builders could inspect the roof and effect any necessary repairs.

The 2 crews were on scene for almost 3 hours to complete the work and returned to LHQ around
