Chelsea member Phil Wall receives his award
Phil was totally shocked when his name was announced having no idea that he had even been nominated for the award. Unit Controller Ron Fitch was thrilled for Phil and said that the award was well deserved. Phil said that one of the most important things in trying to ensure that Chelsea SES continues to enjoy a high community profile is the relationship with local press and Chelsea enjoys a great relationship with the Mordialloc Chelsea Leader as well as the TV News Overnight crews.
I want to thank...
In his acceptance speech, Phil thanked his wife Maryann and his kids for allowing him the time to do what he does. He also thanked the members at Chelsea for their support in making themselves available for PR and media events in spite of their already heavy workload.
